"A fantastic experience. The beach for the children was a homerun! They spent all day hunting for lipids, mussels & clams. The sauna was going was so refreshing after a dip in the pool and bay. A daily ritual. Seal cottage was lovely and most comfortable. Tomas and Margrite(sp) were very helpful. We were there for over 3 weeks and hated to leave! We will return. 5 stars!"

"19 year old daughter and 68 year old sister in law came and met distant cousins and also did site seeing. The apt is just perfect. Everything new but with some antique pieces. Really spacious. Super land manager went out of their way to help us with an early check in. The area is so cute. We felt very safe. All the shops and pub are just around the corner but never head any noise at night!"

"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

We loved the big, comfy couches to sit around the fire on in the evening, a large gravel driveway for the kids to play ball on, three toilets to make bathroom sharing easier in a family of 5 and wifi and lots of TV stations to pick from. "White Heather Farmhouse is a few minutes drive from Kenmare - in the country but convenient to everything. There is farmland all around, so it’s peaceful and quiet - we had a heifer outside our window! The hostess, Sheila, was so knowledgeable about the area - she had lots of great recommendations of where to visit. And the breakfast was great as well - the perfect way to start the day! Highly recommended!"
