"We arrived and discovered that I had booked an apartment suite. Of course the hotel was full. There was an issue with our apartment and was able to be moved to another room. I absolutely did not expect and of the money we paid for the apartment to refunded because we were now in a regular room, but it would have been nice to be offered. The staff at the reception and eatery were wonderful. The food was good as well."

"Decent hotel if a bit dear for what it was. All in all fine for night or two but restaurant understaffed for both dinner and breakfast which lead to long waiting times was main let down"

"A wonderful place to stay. Large room and bathroom. The amenities were great. Breakfast was included and was the best I had during my trip to Europe. Located centrally in the town close to any attractions. Highly recommend."

"My room, as usual was excellent. Being a regular visitor of several times a year, I’ve always found my ‘home from home’ at Doolys hotel. The staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier or more attentive. They take excellent care of me each time I’m there. From arrival, receptionist is Niamh, Ciara or Marisa, to the bar, restaurant and night porter Gerry. Honestly, every single one of them treat me like I’ve known them all my life. I couldn’t rate them any better. See you all in 6 wks. Marguerite"

"Charming home with everything you need to relax after day trips in the area. Centrally located so we were able to go a lot of places within 2 hours or just in the Banagher/Birr area. Shopping and restaurants were within 15 minutes. Joe and Carmel were very welcoming and provided resources for the area in addition to this fine home. Weather allowed us to enjoy the back patio area . Would come back in a minute!"
