Our stay was just as we had hoped. Comfortable, clean, excellent location, and a friendly host. Thanks for heating the hot tub…it was a treat and quite relaxing.
From the hot tub that was ready for us upon arrival, to the fireplace inside that was strike-a-match ready, our stay at the lakeside cottage was a very hospitable one and a great place from which to explore the larger area.
This beautifully appointed and located cottage was part of our trip around the north coast 500. We stayed for two days and made the most locale near Fort William to travel around the area and relax after many days of touring. We had access to all we needed to self cater and a warm fire to sit in front of. The wood burning hot tub was amazing we soaked while looking over the loch and mountains in the background. We will look to return on our next trip to the area.
A wonderful, magical cottage with an incredible vie!

Weekend to hike Ben Nevis
Very nice property and accommodation. Last minute plans had our son stay with us that was not allowed here and made with an awkward exchange with the owner. Fortunately we had other family staying in the area and were able to house him. Beautiful property, views. Approx 30 min drive to Ben Nevis.
Excellent location for the 3rd leg of our journey around the Highlands,.
Excellent location for the 3rd leg of our journey around the Highlands, although cut short after 2/4 days due to meeting with family in Inverness before our trip back to Kent. Lovely views and comfortable cottage, with all facilities needed for our stay. Would recommend and stay again.

A really quaint, private cottage behind the large house. It was very comfortable, our hosts were kind enough to set us up with firewood for the wood stove and to preheat the wood-fired hot tub before our arrival. The bedroom is upstairs, and has a window with a view of the water. Oh host gave us a printout telling the story of the house's origin, really fascinating! We enjoyed our time there!

Charming accommodation! Loved the chickens!
Confortable bed and lots of reading material. The floor felt a little cold at times but we felt reluctant to to turn up the heat as we weren't sure what the end cost would be. As a guide for others, we were there 3 nights and the extra charge for electricity and heat was 10 pounds. Perhaps it would be better to put the rate up a bit and include the electricity and heat. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Lovely place near Glencoe, with chicken for company
Lovely cottage, overlooking Loch Linnhe. No view of the Loch from the windows, but a sweet secluded garden, home to friendly chickens. The cottage is very cozy, with a wood stove in the living room, more for the pleasure of a wood fire than out of necessity, as the heating is very efficient. The kitchen is well equipped and basic necessities - coffee, tea, sugar, milk and cookies :-) - are provided. The dining area of the kitchen might be a bit tight for four people, but it was adequate for three. Excellent communication with the owner, who lives in the main house, and precise directions to get to the cottage. There is a co-op in Ballachulish, but more choices in Fort Williams. Short driving distance to spectacular Glencoe. We had a great stay!

WOW what a great place to stay!!
This cottage and grounds were amazing. The owners were on holiday the week we were there, but they were great with communicating with us prior and during our stay. We had a great time helping tend to the chickens! My wife and daughter had given each a nick name before we left, they became part of our family too!! We enjoyed the eggs each morning from our new friends as well. The kitchen is well equipped as we made meals there everyday. The beds are comfortable, never a morning with a sore back and that says a lot because I have a bad back. The views of Loch Linnhe are breathtaking and we shot many a photo of its different moods throughout the week.
On a sad note my wife lost one of her favorite rings on the property while we were there. She left a note for Caroline to let her know if she ever runs across it. Well Caroline did much better then that. She searched the property and FOUND AND SENT IT!! It just arrived and my wife could not be happier!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! That's the type of care and service you can expect.
The cottage is very centrally located to explore the Highland area of Glencoe, Oban, Ft. Williams, Isle of Skye etc. etc. Lots of great pubs and restaurants near by. Try the Old Inn great steaks, liver pate, and chickpea burgers. Grocery stores are located very close in Ballachulish and Ft. Williams.
We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend that you give this great cottage a try!!!!!!!!!
The cottage is compact but well designed for 2-3 guests. Excellent facilities, including a new bathroom. It is positioned on Loch Lynnhe with easy access to the wonderful walks and sights of Glen Coe. Communication with our host, Caroline, was most appropriate.
Very homey, spacious, quiet. Lovely on lake setting. Bath is on main (w very weak pressure) and beds up a curvy quaint staircase. Owner requests sheets/bedding stripped and trash out. No bar soap and directions for combo wash/dryer would help a lot. Also, we didn’t realize there was a separate path to an on water table area until we were leaving and looking for bin cans. View from master is wonderful.
This cottage is exquisite for a centrally located, comfortable, charming, well appointed stay in the Glencoe area. We were able to get to Fort Augusta, Fort William, Glenfinnan and points beyond. Hiked in the mountains, forests, quarry and glens. Simply magical. Owners very helpful. Loved every minute in this quaint cottage.
