"The twin room (1 double, 1 single) was very comfortable and clean. Good fridge (with freezer compartment) and good microwave, with all mugs, glasses, cutlery provided, and daily top up of coffee and tea sachets. The bathroom was clean and good size.
The office staff, Chelsea and Kylie, were very courteous and helpful. The room service staff were also friendly and efficient. The TV and air-con worked well. There was adequate parking within the complex."
"Our Hosts were wonderful and made sure that we had a very enjoyable experience.
We only went to Stanthorpe for one night away from home, but it was a great for us to enjoy such hospitality. The common areas had Tea, coffee and drinking chocolate available to use unrestricted. We could get comfortable and relax.
This is something a B and B offers above a motel room.
There is a large 4 bay covered Parking area behind and to the side of the verandah which is much appreciated and right beside the stairs to the Verandah which leads to the hallway. We were served a very generous Full Breakfast of locally procured ingredients.
Having travelled and stayed at B and B, s and Motels in the United Kingdom and Singapore, my wife and I have to applaud Shelley and Andrew for providing an excellent stay. Being located only a four-minute drive to the heart of town it is very quiet during the night as it is off the main thoroughfare."
"We stayed two nights recently with our Labrador/Goldie cross dog at the Girraween Country Inn. To find pet friendly accomodation is rare and to live up to the expectation is even rarer. Hayden and Josh provided the perfect, old fashioned service to all three of us. They went out of their way to accomodate us and brought dinner up to the landing so we could have our dog with us.The room was clean and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. And the food: it was well beyond what you would expect from a small , hidden place. Josh has created flaky, golden coloured pastries that melted in your mouth!Everything else was seasonal and delicious. Highly recommend to stay for dog parents and anyone else who prefers the service of years gone past!"
"Clean, spacious, very comfortable beds in all five bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Games room and pool table which saw a lot of use! Comfortable lounge area and fire which we had to use as very cold on the weekend. It was easy to use and there was plenty of firewood. Watched birds and wallabies from the deck. Very enjoyable stay."
"The property is unique. Oh so quiet!! Nathan was a fantastic host. The view from the cabin over the vineyard was so relaxing. We sat on the verandah late afternoon and early morning and watched the kangaroos in the far paddock. It was a quick walk to the cellar door for wine tasting at The Clever Kids Wines. We enjoyed every one of them. The cabins are supplied with everything you could possibly need as well as a surprise welcome pack of a bottle of wine and nibbles.
This is a 10 out of 10 place to stay. Oh and how could I forget to mention the charming goats. Absolutely love this place."
