We stayed two nights recently with our Labrador/Goldie cross dog at the Girraween Country Inn. To find pet friendly accomodation is rare and to live up to the expectation is even rarer. Hayden and Josh provided the perfect, old fashioned service to all three of us. They went out of their way to accomodate us and brought dinner up to the landing so we could have our dog with us.The room was clean and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. And the food: it was well beyond what you would expect from a small , hidden place. Josh has created flaky, golden coloured pastries that melted in your mouth!Everything else was seasonal and delicious. Highly recommend to stay for dog parents and anyone else who prefers the service of years gone past!
