The Oberoi, Mauritius

Balaclava

10/10 Excellent

We went for knowing we wanted a lazy holiday. Our aim was to spend as much time on a sun lounger as possible and I think we managed pretty well. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are SO helpful and we possible the best massages in the Spa we've ever had. We explored the 2 towns close to the resort; Port Louis seemed to be more of a day time excursion, the markets are great and its def worth a visit, but beware of getting hassled (its pretty much the opposite of been in the hotel). Grand Baie...

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights in December. Excellent service and a great place to relax and have a break. Their top priority is your comfort and the staff are extremely polite and professional and do everything they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. They do not say no to anything you ask for!! One of the best places I have stayed at and certainly a place I would recommend to family and friends. Its a bit far out from everywhere so if you want to explore the surroundings...

The Good Life Mauritius

Cap Malheureux

10/10 Excellent

We had a lovely day Good Life ego Lodge. This is a small boutique hotel in a quiet area of Cap Malhereux. It is within two minutes walk of the red roof church Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice. We use the buses to travel along the north coast and visited all the beautiful beaches. The bus stop is only a few minutes away. The rooms are quite compact, but it was big enough for us. The pool was quite small, but we did not use it as there are such beautiful beaches close by. Antoine was a wonderful host. I...

My family and I spent 12 nights here in April 2016 and from the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave I knew I had made a great choice to spend a memorable holiday. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in rooms 204 and 207, both were first floor rooms and they were very comfortable and spacious adopting a modern open plan layout. The bed was great, bedding etc excellent and air con was effective. The shower was one of the best I've experienced...

Special thanks to the amazing staff Viana Ved, Vinesh, Angel and the BRILLIANT Akhilesh who went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon was nothing short of amazing. Thank you! Just perfect. Food is outstanding, service is as good as any hotel we have ever stayed. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and polite. The setting is magnificent. The food and drinks are a little pricey but worth every single penny (rupee). As an example, my daughter had burnt her face and was a little upset whilst we were having dinner. The waiter noticed and asked if she would like to see a doctor. Within 2 minutes (no exaggeration) a doctor was there with some cream which solved...
