Lovely staff,food& room

Our room was excellent. Spacious, large ensuite. Breakfast was great, really nice. The car parking can't be reserved, it's a working pub. We did okay though on an August weekend. We really liked the whole village, explore it.

Staff were extremely friendly, and my dinner the evening I arrived was delicious. I don't eat breakfast but the coffee was good. The setting of this place is just beautiful, I was sad to only be staying the one night.

We would go back.

We wanted to visit the local National Trust properties, which were all very worth visiting. The scenery was lovely (Peak District), and the pub we ate at was also very good - a recommendation of the hotel staff. We only stayed for three nights this time, but will be coming back for another visit sooner rather than later, and would hope to stay again at Newton House. The bar and lounges were nicely furnished and decorated, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Fantastic overnight, it was a wonderful stay with very very friendly and helpful hosts. Absolutely would come again!

Staff very friendly and helpful..bar restaurant and lounge all beautifully decorated and in keeping with age of the building.the grounds are so relaxing and small but well maintained with plenty of lovely seating ..will visit again in summer to make to most of this outside space ..total fantastic relaxing couple of days

This hotel has been refurbished recently and is in very good condition. We were lucky to stay in a double room with two double beds, easily big enough for a family of four but there were two of us. As our visit was deemed to be a necessary visit due to Covid restrictions all our meals were taken in our rooms. The limited menu offered something for everyone and the quality of food was excellent, both at breakfast and in the evening. There was a lovely covered patio area to enjoy but the weather...

I had a lovely overnight stay in the wel presented Willow Lodge. The room was immaculate and had some lovely touches from the owners. The location is stunning, you will not be disappointed. Slightly disappointing for me was the price for the electric vehicle charging. But would not be put off booking again..

Amazing retreat in the heart of the Peak District. Spotless clean, highest quality kitchen appliances, wellness tech, sauna for private use. Quiet and modern. Loved it!

Me and a friend stayed over after a party in one of the function rooms. Great function space, food and DJ and for less than £60 to stay over it was a great deal. Room was clean and spacious with a good shower and basic facilities. On Sunday we had a swim after a great breakfast. Lovely addition to the party.

Super clean very modern and comfy

Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were very wlecoming and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast on offer. Leisure facilities, especially the large swimming pool were first rate.

The staff have been amazing everytime we have been visiting for the last ten months more on a weekly basis however recently have not felt that welcomed by a certain member of staff who shows no customer service care at all and come across very rude and abrupt. We have always enjoyed being here as the staff have always been friendly but recently we do not feel that is the case with one of the receptionist called Adeola. It would be appreciated if this individual respects customers and approaches...

Great PLace to stay. Its new management and just getting off the ground but the quality and provisions were excellent for the money. I cant fault it . I was the only one in the restaurant but they were attentive and the food was brilliant. hopefully theyll take off .
