Us in a bomb crater at Pointe du Hoc. The site of an impressive Allied raid during D-day.
To see such a beautiful and peaceful sight makes it even more difficult to imagine the D-Day assault of this cliff.

All ok ok. Weird alarm on both nights- rooms are not soundproof. Room needed a rug- just too bare. Breakfast was good. It's not the most lively place. I did like that they had a kettle in the room. That was probably the nicest thing for me.
