Clean room, friendly staff at check in. Only downfall is that the beds are only double and the breakfast is in a separate building across the street.

The room was very clean. Everything was well kept. In order to register, we had to go across the street to the other Hotel and get our key. One person at the desk, to manage 2 places. Time are changing . Small breakfast but ok and good coffee.

Clean room and bathroom. Could use a couple touch ups on paint in a couple areas, nothing too drastic. You have to check in at a different location than the hotel, but it’s not far away. Beds were comfortable. Nice photos on the wall from Quebec.

Le Boreal is orphan of Motel Hauterive

It was our first stay at this establishment but third stay altogether with its sister establishment Motel Hauterive. It served its purpose but beware that if you are staying at Le Boreal, you will need to travel 200 meters (yes meters) to the front desk, ice, soft drinks, and breakfast! Hence, should we ever return to Baie Comeau, we will stay at the Motel Hauterive (and not Boreal), after all great service from the owners (who own both establishments).

The room was not as portrayed. The furniture was miss-matched and in terrible condition. The lights over the sink in the bathroom did not work. The lighting in the entire room was low wattage. I had expected at least a queen bed but there was only a one double bed in the room. Why are you having customers check in at a nice hotel then putting customers in a building down the street with no staff in attendance? Bad vibes completely.

The breakfast was at another motel. You had to drive there to get it Usually I like to go down, bring it back to the room as I prepare to leave. VERY inconvenient so didn't have a chance to get breakfast. All correspondence was in French only. I could not translate it through the app. Check in was also at another motel The note on the front door was not helpful. I had to aak the woman at check in about breakfast She did not give any directions to the room, we had to drive around looking for it

To check in you have to cross the boulevard to the main hotel and to get you’re continental breakfast still have to cross that boulevard and it was ordinary no variety.
