Attention: When the system automatically assigned the photos, common areas and restaurants were assigned, but these do not exist. The photos are all of the holiday apartment. The open kitchen-living area forms the heart of the apartment. From the livingroom, you can access the spacious balcony. The balcony offers a view of the countryside and is equipped with a rain cover, garden furniture, a parasol and a side awning. The bathroom with shower-bathtub, two sinks and a toilet is modern. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS tv board games and books Bed linen can be used additionally for 10 € per person. Towel sets (one large and one small) for € 5 per person. The holiday apartment is located in a completely renovated, villa-like townhouse, which was built at the beginning of the last century as a holiday home for a mine director from the Ruhr area. A historical stained glass window with mallets and irons as internationally used symbols for mining bears witness to this period. The house has photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, so you can keep your ecological footprint low during your vacation. The close to the city but quiet location invites you to discover the immediate surroundings and the region. Bad Wildungen has been known as a health resort since the 16th century due to its mineral springs. The apartment is a very good starting point to explore and experience the National Park Kellerwald-Edersee and Edersee. A network of call-collective taxis (AST) can be used to get here. The Schützenplatz stop is only a 4-minute walk from the apartment. The center of Bad Wildungen, e.g. Brunnenallee and Wandelhalle can be reached from here in about 15 minutes on foot, and the beautiful wild Helenental in 10 minutes on foot. In the Helenental are the nature reserves 'Sondertal and Talgraben near Bad Wildungen' and 'Sonderrain'. The NSG 'Sondertal und Talgraben' has been designated as a nature reserve since 1986 and, with its wildly developing forests for more than 25 years, gives a foretaste of the forest wilderness of the National Park Kellerwald-Edersee. After a summer rain shower, numerous fire salamanders can be observed here in the valley. The Helenenquelle, one of the most important healing springs in Bad Wildungen, can also be found here (13 minutes walk from the holiday apartment). The NSG 'Sonderrain' is known beyond Bad Wildungen because of its occurrence of the pasque flower and the Whitsun carnation. The rocky hillside area is occupied by a dry forest that is as remarkable as it is beautiful. Es sind aber lediglich 10 Minuten bis zur Helenenquelle, wo man sich das Heilwasser umsonst zapfen kann. Die Wohnung selbst liegt etwas höher als die City, sodass man vom schönen großzügigen Balkon einen netten Blick ins Tal und aus bestimmten Blickwinkeln bis in die weiter weg liegenden Hügel hat. Es gibt gut gepflegte Balkonmöbel und einen Sonnenschirm. Dadurch, dass die Möbel unter einem Glasdach stehen, könnte man auch bei leichtem Nieselregen noch draußen sitzen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, es liegt zwischen mehreren Einfamilienhäusern, die jeweils recht große Gartengrundstücke haben. Dadurch geht der Blick nach hinten ins Grüne; zum Haus gehört ein leicht verwilderter Garten. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und originell eingerichtet. Ein schöner Eßplatz, bequeme Sofas und neue Betten und Matratzen sowie ein neues, saniertes Bad lassen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm werden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren wirklich ausreichend vorhanden. Einziges Manko ist eigentlich die nur geringe Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit der Räume, da die Außenjalousien nicht gut funktionieren und damit die Wohnküche im Sommer doch recht heiß werden kann. Im Schlafzimmer empfiehlt sich doch auch eine Schlafmaske, wenn man es sehr dunkel benötigt, die Vorhänge sind aber zum Abdunkeln für weniger empfindliche Personen völlig ausreichend. Auch im Kinderzimmer ist es nicht ganz abzudunkeln. Ansonsten sind ##### ulrich B. Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Frau Menzler-Henze war sehr freundlich und jederzeit möglich. Der Check-in per Schlüsselbox funktionierte einwandfrei und die Wohnung übertraf unsere Vorstellungen. Alles war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und die Wohnung war super groß, sodass die Kinder auch bei schlechtem Wetter genug Platz zum Spielen hatten. Spiele, Bücher und diverse andere Sachen machen die Wohnung gemütlich und vertreiben einem bei Regen die Zeit. Bad Wildungen, der Edersee und der Nationalpark bieten einem viele Ausflugsziele. Die Wohnung ist mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet und hat eine warme und gemütliche Atmosphäre, so dass wir uns trotz des schlechten Wetters hier total wohl gefühlt haben. Besonders das viele Spielzeug hat unseren Kindern den Aufenthalt versüßt. Auch die Nähe zum Wald ist großartig für kurze oder längere Spaziergänge. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin Frau Menzler - Henze im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt etwas oberhalb von Bad Wildungen, aber mit dem Auto sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen. Das Haus ist alt und hat viel Atmosphäre, die Wohnung besticht durch ihre Geräumigkeit und moderne Einrichtung. Das Bad ist renoviert und auf der Terrasse lässt es sich herrlich entspannen.
