We booked 2 AC Rooms back in March for 2 days. When we arrived, the staff looked surprised we are there until we showed the reservation and the receipt. They gave us 2 rooms then but they were both old and with problems. I believe they have a few renovated rooms that are shown in the pictures online but most of the rooms are old, smelly and moldy. The AC in our room did not work and they could not give us another room until the next day because they said they are full. Temp inside was 30C that night and we were traveling with a 88 year old mom. We did not even have glasses in that room. They switched us in a new room next day and we found ourselves in a different, much cleaner and better environment. The staff were nice and willing to help but the place is really not good. The only thing it has going for it is the location in the middle of the city. Will I book Astoria again? No, never. Sorry

Great hotel, staff really friendly... the room is greatly equipped, although it would be good to have the shampoo and soap separately, still I rated the room with 5 stars. The bed and pillows are excellent!! The TV options also great and flexible allowing me to screen from my phone.... I didn't see an option to book the room with a Spa entrance in the Hotels.com so I assumed I have the access to the spa, which was not the case and a bit misleading... Anyway since I didn't had too much time to spend the spa I still rated the hotel with 5 stars. Need to consider this for future reservations. Thx, Moshe

I booked a room in a “4 star” hotel and ended up in a cigarette smelling room, which has not been updated in decades. We were able to change the room to a slightly updated one (no smell!!) but very noisy since both the hotel and the plaza in front of the hotel are in full renovations. The noise and renovation should be mentioned through the booking process, mostly since all materials are carried through the main lobby and guest elevators. (dirt everywhere) Offsite parking is also inconvenient. The staff felt stiff and unwelcoming. Even with renovated rooms, not a 4 star hotel.

Overall an underwhelming experience at the Ramada Inn by Wyndham in Iași. The location is great but that's about it. The room felt cramped. There are no USB chargers. The TV was so tiny you needed binoculars to view the content from only a few feet away. There is however a phone in the bathroom and, more importantly, stationery consisting of two envelopes and an old weathered piece of paper in case you want to write a love letter and mail it out ..Parking situation is a little strange, with several parking attendents aggressively accosting us and asking for money every time we tried to park in the hotel parking lot. Overall, lots left to be desired at Wyndham Ramada in Iași. We will look elsewhere next time.

The hotel is located very convenient in downtown. We enjoyed staying in a large room decorated in a palace style and with a huge bathroom. We would come back anytime.
