"We loved this house. We brought most things we needed and kitchen had a crock pot which i was super excited about. With the changing weather, there seemed to be a few flies staying with us. Not a big dead, got some fly tape and didn't skip a beat. Would love to stay again. "

"Luray is a relaxing place meant for enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains, the Shenandoah Valley, and a slower pace. There is adventure in fishing, rafting, hiking, and biking. There are no Gallerias or Malls. It is lovely and refreshing. The Mimslyn is perfect. The breakfast in the Circa 31 room is exceptional. The dinner and a drink in the Speakeasy is well done and much appreciated after a day exploring the area. We spent time fishing the South Fork Shenandoah and then came “home” to our base at the Mimslyn. Core memories."

"Late March travel. Found no one at front desk when we arrived. Coffee maker in room and in lobby east working. Restaurant for breakfast wasn’t open."

"This is a very charming property and walkable to lots of cute shopping and the River Walk. We had a little hiccup at check in and it was taken care of so promptly!"

"Everything was very clean, and super cozy. It's in a great spot for walking the cute town Luray, visiting the Luray Caverns, or going up to Shenandoah for hiking. Host was super great at responding quickly and timely. Would rent again!"

"Great place to stay! We really enjoyed how quiet it was during our stay. Be aware that there are no toiletries in the shower so just make sure to throw some in your bag. I didn’t realize that there wouldn’t be any but we fortunately had some shampoo and conditioner with us so it wasn’t an issue for us."

"Relaxing Thanksgiving holiday get-away with the family. Who wouldn't want to stay above a coffee shop! The layout of the place was great. The place was clean, right on main street, and walking distance from cute shops and restaurants. Great area for walking trails as well. We traveled with our two kids, our dog, and nanny. Luray Caverns was minutes away. No complaints. Parking wasn't an issue even with a huge vehicle. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and informative. "
