"The General Palmer Hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Durango. All the downtown attractions are within walking distance. My room was clean and well furnished. The only improvement could be the breakfast. On offer were the usual things a regular motel on the interstate offers eggs, oatmeal, waffles, pastries etc. The quality of these items could be raised a notch to match the quality of the hotel. Thank you for a comfortable stay."

"Enjoyable tonight stay. Only issue encounter was a day and a half. The only elevator was out of service. Being on the top floor, happy to see it back in operation when we left. Excellent breakfast. A personal chef on duty to ensure top quality food, and plenty of it. Compliments to the chef!"
