"Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding.
Staff (the owners themselves and their little daughter) was very helpful and very kind.
It happened that they were invited to the wedding as well! So cool!
Continental Breakfast was included in our stay.
The room was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The environment was very quiet.

"The property and views were stunning. Spacious room and bathroom, breakfast was also good. My only gripe would be the room could do with a small fridge, as there is nowhere nearby to get a cold drink."

Beautiful hotel with fantastic heated pool and gorgeous food served by friendly accommodating staff. Great value for money and the hotel is perfectly placed to discover the jewels of the Dordogne such as Perigueux and the cave paintings at Lascaux. The only slight issue is a bit of bliss from the road right behind the pool and the breakfast could have been better for the price. But great stay overall’

The hotel is amassing, down side the bar closed at 9:30pm and the pool at 8:30
The botells of water in the room should be offered for free on a daily base and not just on arrival.
Rooms are large, big bathroom, very clean and air-conditioning... very important when its 39c outside.

I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful B&B!
The building is stunning, set in a wonderfully peaceful location with original features enhanced by both old and new furniture. The decor is charming and tasteful.
Aurélie provides a simple yet very tasty breakfast every morning and nothing is too much trouble! All jams are homemade which can be bought no site. She is very friendly and allows you to treat her home like your own. We ate an evening meal there one night and it was cooked using...
