Although Goreme is a cute tourist town about 20 miles away from this amazing cave hotel, the mountain side privacy is worth the 20 minute taxi ride to visit Goreme. Also all the tours in the area pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. Finally, we stayed 4-nights and easily could have stayed a 5th to do all the exciting activities! Big mistake if you don’t book at this location. The view is absolutely breathtaking—you could easily spend your entire trip just soaking it in from the hotel and leave Cappadocia feeling refreshed. The room itself was beautiful, complete with a Jacuzzi inside, which was a unique touch. The family running the hotel are some of the warmest and most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met—they truly make you feel at home. Breakfast here is not only delicious but also incredibly generous in quantity; you definitely get great value for money. A few small suggestions for improvement: it would be helpful to have instructions for using the Jacuzzi, complimentary water bottles (at least 2 per day) would be a thoughtful touch, and perhaps some tips for international travelers on how to sleep comfortably in Cappadocia’s hot and humid nights (even with the AC). That said, none of these minor points take away from the magic of this place. The view alone makes it worth every penny. If you’re visiting Cappadocia, stay here—you could do nothing else and still feel like you had the trip of a lifetime."
