Only one major issue. The first night of my stay the hotel moved housekeeping staff into the room above me late at night. The banging and the noise was ridiculous and when I went to the front desk at around 11:00 p.m. there was nobody there, no night staff. Hotel shouldn't be putting staff in the same quarters as paying customers.

Dear Mr.Benjamin,Thank you for staying with us at SigiriyaJungles. On the day of your arrival, the clients in the upstair room wanted a room change to stay next to each other as there were 02 rooms. The noise was due to that and not that staff was occupying guest rooms. We keep only one front desk staff after 11 pm but we have a duty manager to call in an emergency along with a few others including maintenance. Anyway sorry for that inconvenience. We are very glad that except that incident you enjoyed our services & extended in the future night. Please consider this is only an incident & come again. Beautiful jungle setting with a lovely pool area. Good food. Small gym but nice. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice but only had screen doors to the outside which made it quite hot.

What was unique was the service where nothing was too much and always friendly. Taking 6 other people to SL with me I was so happy that they also felt the same as me about this resort. Well done to the team at the resort. Also the food was fabulous for breakfast and dinner.

This was a really beautiful resort with lovely big clean rooms, amazing staff and a beautiful pool and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and massages too.

When we checked in at 6 pm ready to hit the shower & have dinner, there was no hot water. Have to call several times before someone came & evidently they use solar panels plus backup electricity but backup never kicked in. No hand towel & no wash cloth! No hair conditioner. Have to use single bath towel to do it all. Hotel compounds & setting was peaceful & tranquil , looks like a 4-5 star property but overall stay felt like 2 star. Plus air conditioning was not cool.

No hot water when we checked in at 6:30 pm. Took long time to resolve, no room available to move us. Third bed was a hard sofa! Have to asked them to put a mattress on the sofa! We paid for 3 rd extra bed. No hand towel and no wash cloth. Have to request for extra bath towel to be use as hand towel. Management just apologized and that hotel was fully booked. Does not know how to compensate for our inconvenience so I will never stay there again & never recommend to friends!

Tranquil place with nice breakfast buffet and pleasant bands in the evening. Room was a little dark but clean. Note: They dont provide driver accomodations but they helped to arrange one. Also helpful with arranging a last minute tour.

We stayed 3 nights at Sigiriya Jungles. What an unexpected and beautiful resort. We wanted for nothing. The staff led by Duty Manager Ajith - were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The meals were varied and well done. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely - partially open to nature. The birds, peacocks, monkeys provided great entertainment. The infinity pool is stunning and well maintained. The live music at dinner was wonderful. We highly recommend Sigiriya Jungles and hope to return some day. Such a beautiful respite.

Impressed by the quality of this hotel. We have already decided to return next year. Very service minded, quick response, always smiling staff. VERY nice restaurant with great collection of choice. Modern and stylish rooms i very good condition, super spa-treatments (though a bit pricey). As said - I did not expect this hotel to be as good as it is. Go and order now :)

Good, but could have been great.
Our stay here was almost perfect. The hotel itself is great and the service etc. is very good (although sometimes bordering on trying too much to “up-sell” everything which got a bit annoying). The one flaw we had was that, due to its location, you really need to have a driver when staying here. We had emailed in advance to see if the hotel offered driver accomodation. They said they did for a small price (which we were happy to pay) but when we arrived we were told that no driver accommodation was available. This was very annoying and ended up resulting in us having to give our driver money to get accodation elsewhere. They weren’t particularly apologetic for this inconvenience. I understand the hotel may give precedence to the drivers for the larger tour groups so you are travelling in a small group you will just have to take your chances and don’t rely too much on what they tell you in advance!!

Outstanding. Need to keep good work !
In our top 5 hotels we were lucky to travel to in south east Asia. The service is way above what you will get in places like Amaya in Sri Lanka. The general manager of the restaurant was very professional. The food very good. The design of the resort is outstanding. Simple and elegant (we are architects btw) The place is quiet and the views great. We couldn’t try the spa as the guy was not here but I would recommend to try. Only negative points : Cannot swim early morning. It’s a sham as in Sri Lanka people wake up Early and go to bed early. I was questioned for a mini bar item - 2$, which make the client experience drop massively at the end.

Nice way to end the trip
It was the last night of our trip so we went a bit more upmarket. Totally worth it. There is a relaxing swimming pool, great service. In the evening they had a big buffet with a band.

Beautiful hotel.
What an amazing hotel. Staff were lovely. Rooms were great with an outside shower (screened off so no spiders) Pool area lovely with wild birds visiting regularly. Food was great and very reasonably priced, which was just as well ‘cause the property was quite remote. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Sigiriya Stay
We stayed for one night while visiting Sigiriya Lions Rock. The hotel is a 15 minute drive and perfect for a short stay while visiting this attraction. The hotel is stunning with beautiful grounds and a tranquil atmosphere. The infinity pool offers a perfect way to relax after a day trekking. The dinner buffet offered a wide variety of local cuisine for 2,500 rupees. The breakfast included western and local foods which was all of top quality.

Great Hotel close to the local attractions
Sigiriya Jungles is a fairly new hotel (around 1 year old) and has really nice, spacious rooms plus a great pool area. The staff were all very professional and friendly and were eager to help whenever required. It's located within easy reach of all the local Sigiriya attractions and the hotel were more than happy to arrange transport to the main sightseeing bits. The buffets they offered in the evenings were excellent and had plenty of choice plus the included breakfasts were great!

Nice hotel with a great pool
The hotel was really nice, we had a great time. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were well maintained, the pool bathroom and shower need a bit of attention, you could see spider webs on the walls and there was no toilet paper. We also stayed for the New Year Gala that the hotel prepared (dinner and music), which in all honesty was disappointing, music was alright but food was not very tasty (on a positive note, deserts were great though), for the $75 / person that was charged, they could have done so much better. All in all, we had a great stay (Ishan thank you for the bike tour around the city) and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Jungle stop in Sigiriya
Nice, new hotel. Lovely grounds. Staff very nice but very slow. Food was just ok. But learning food is just ok in most places in Sri Lanka. Bathroom has "outdoor" shower (protected by fly screen doors) but there are no seals on any windows or doors, so I got eaten alive by mosquitos inside the hotel room and have been scratching for days.

Quiet & Peaceful Hotel
We arrived in the early morning 4am and the hotel staff were still available to assist with our check-in even though it was a crazy hour. Really appreciated that! Generally this hotel is great if you would like to find one that's not crowded and peaceful. Great stay!

Nice setting rooms well located and private ground
On arrival were greeted warmly by the staff with excellent service who ensured that our needs were met. The room were very tastefully decorated and bathroom was fabulous with a spa bath and roomy . We enjoyed the buffet dinners and breakfasts. The reception desk staff were particularly helpful with any requests . After a climb of Sigriya a massage and dip in the pool was exquisite. Again thanks to Mel and the staff a memorable stay.

Attentive Staff
We had issues with power failure and they were in my room in 5 minutes in the middle of the night. Housekeeping was quick to clean a few things that may have been overlooked. We left somethings in the safe and they were very attentive to our concerns and it quickly taken care of and kept safe until our driver picked the package up. Very welcoming and friendly and happy staff.

A really nice hotel, nice rooms, pool and restaurant, only let down by poor service in the restaurant. We asked for a burger with no cheese and were presented with a burger bun with nothing in, all rather comical.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a great place to relax after being in many busy cities. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially for a quiet getaway.

Great stay, good staff.
We enjoyed our stay. Staff very good. The first night in the restaurant, we had the best. Outlets in the wall were not what we expected. The adaptor provided sparked and did not help us.

Convenient to nearby temples
Beautiful property that it is still under construction. Friendly staff. All that would be expected from a five star resort. Our only and significant complaint was the stomach bug we caught after dinner our first night. We stayed in our room for more than 24 hours and are still dealing with whatever caused it three days ago. Upon checkout my partner let the staff know we were sick due to the food we ate at the resort and their response was that they will let the kitchen know. Unfortunately this would make me think twice about booking here again. Hygienes or ill handled food should not be an issue at a posh place such as this. Pretty disappointed as this has affected our journey this far. As a side note, we have been traveling through Asia for the past two months eating all sorts of food even from street vendors and never got ill...this was our measure for what happened at this place.

We staid three nights and think the hotel needs some kind of renovation. The staff has been fantastic and the people did their utmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

部屋は比較的きれいで、浴槽もあり快適でした。ただ、シギリヤロックに朝一番に出発して登ろうと計画していましたが、朝食が７：００からということで計画通りにはいきませんでした。 部屋の電気蚊取器は点いているのかいないのかわからないもので、結局部屋の中に入ってきた蚊に少々悩まされました。 ホテル内敷地は想像していたよりも狭く感じました。 総合的には快適に過ごすことができました。
