Tamara was very pleasant to deal with. Lovely breakfast was made and great conversation. The house we stayed in was very clean, you change out of shoes and put crocs on that are provided to ensure the carpets remain clean. There was a lot of information provided. The room was a little smaller than expected, we reserved a Romantic King with Mountain view and was very small. Didn't seem much like picture but we didn't stay long and served its purpose. Probably would have been able to get a better room if hadn't gone through Expedia and went directly through them but for the one night and not knowing the area much it worked out.

Our stay at Mein Haus was great! It is an easy walk to the Riverfront Gondola. The accommodations were clean and the hosts were super sweet!

We don't recommend using the Riverfront Gondola to get to Beaver Creek resort as there are much more accommodating and comfortable ways to utilize that resort. If you talk to us more, we can significantly improve your vacation experience with a few helpful bits of advice.

Mein Haus is a welcoming experience
Friendly and hospitable couple run this B&B. Comfortable reasonable priced rooms, good breakfast and exceptional service make Mein Haus a must for people who want a different experience than the standard hotel. The location is close to the free bus line to Beaver Creek or Free express bus to Vail. Amenities as guest kitchens, bathrooms in every room, ski locker guest parking and a hot tub leave you not wanting much more. Mein Haus hosts makes you feels like you are staying with a friend versus a hotel. Definitely recommend for those wanting a more personalized experience.

Tamara and Dr. Roehr are awesome hosts. Very sweet folks. You won't meet nicer people. Tamara cooked up an awesome breakfast. My daughter loved the fish tanks. Thanks for letting her feed the fish.

It was an unexpected stay as the highway closed due to a winter storm. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly. It was very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and we loved our room. I’d stay here again. Please take note this is a B&B and someone’s home that they value and work hard for everyday. There are particular rules because of that. It’s not a corporate hotel so be respectful of the individuality. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Enjoyable Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a very welcoming place with a clean and very comfortable room plus a nice common area with kitchen facilities and relaxing amenities. The fresh delicious and plentiful breakfast was wonderful. Tamara was delightful, friendly and helpful. We hope we will have the opportunity to stay there again.

The linens here carried a strong floral fragrance, which was an experience unlike any other place I've stayed. Most hotels wisely choose unscented laundry products. It became so overwhelming for me that after exhaustion overtook me for a two-hour sleep, I awoke with a splitting headache and feeling nauseated from the overpowering smell. As I continued to struggle with my reaction for an hour, I realized that could not stay any longer. At 2 a.m., I departed in search of another hotel.

If you don't tell us about a problem and the first we hear about it is a week after you leave, there is not much we can do to help you. As a physician, the reaction to the fabric softener is not unheard of, but idiosyncratic in nature. Headache, has a very broad differential diagnosis, especially in a person visiting the high altitude of the Rocky mountains from Texas. We can help you with this problem if we know about it, but it needs to be communicated to us in order to do so. Headache severe enough to cause nausea, is a serious matter, and the top of the list for this history and location would be high altitude cerebral edema, which is most definitely not treated by moving down the block. Hopefully this person did well, but any visitor to our area presenting with such symptomatology should let Dr. Roehr know so that proper diagnosis and treatment is obtained. Our good friend and mentor, Howard Donner, MD is the world's expert on High Altitude Sickness and has personally reviewed the available medical literature with us on the subject so we have a good idea on what is truth and bunk in diagnosis and treatment of these related syndromes.

Great B & B
Tamara was super friendly and responded quickly when I showed up at 7pm for check-in. I wish I had time to enjoy the property amenities such as the Hot Tub, Community Kitchen and Pool Table! Also love the "no shoes" policy in the house but the house provided Crocs to use, neat idea!

STAY AWAY. Place has security cameras everywhere, I felt like I was being watched at all times, super shady. They don't allow you to wear shoes indoors, not a welcoming feeling at all. If you don't mind photos of handguns on the windows, and photos of extremely polarizing political figures displayed for all to see, then this is your place. If I'm paying $350+ for a night, I think I should be able to bring food/drinks into my room (yeah, they don't allow that). Maybe if you guys re-surface your driveway you wouldn't have to worry about the rocks folks allegedly track into the building? (that was the rationale for not allowing outside shoes into the building). NEVER AGAIN.

We continue to tell Hotels.com and their parent that anonymous reviews, even by Luca here, don't do anyone any good. Every place you go has security cameras, and our insurance carriers expect us to have them in public areas for liability reasons. Our tag line is "make Mein Haus your Home" and we want you to feel comfortable here. This is actually our home, and we are happy to display photos of popularly known people from all walks of life and all political persuasions. It is not unusual for hotels to do similar, and those places are not someone's actual home, so this reviewer is a bit off base as to their intolerance of humanity. We have multiple places to sit and eat at a normal table, so there is little reason to isolate yourself away from everyone else when you dine.The parking lot and driveway are less than 10 years old, and we like to have carpeting that is not like the sandpaper you see at a typical commercial establishment. The majestic wilderness of the Rocky mountains is a hard place to live, and the things that survive in this environment will grow anywhere, including our carpet, so we ask that you don't track all of that into our house and we are encouraged that Mein Haus has not taken on that "Ski Haus smell" you will notice other places. No one is forced to stay with us and we go out of our way to make sure that everyone in our house is treated with equal respect. Unfortunately, this reviewer does not seem to understand what normal social interaction is all about and will likely never be able to afford living in this county, which always is one of the top 5 most expensive places to live in the USA.Still, we support everyone's right to free speech, even if we bristle at the delivery of those who could use a little more practice being social.

What’s not to like? The space is beautiful and it’s situated perfectly in the area. Super friendly hosts and just about the best damn breakfast you could ask for. If you’re debating a stay here, stop debating and book it.

Mein Haus was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and great breakfasts. Staff/owners were very friendly. Location was great with a short walk to the bus stop to take the shuttle up to the ski lifts. We didn't really get to fully appreciate the property since we were out snowboarding every day and hung out with family at their condo in the evenings but there was a nice library, work center, and hot tub available as well. My only complaint would be the pillows could have been more comfortable. A couple down pillows in the room would have been great.

We aren't going to pat you on the back when you arrive at our door and immediately want to violate several laws. (Surprisingly, we actually know who "Anonymous" is since they were the only ones demanding we violate the laws in recent guest experience.) You also are not allowed to write nasty statements about us on Hotels.com AND get a refund from Expedia. Expedia is supposed to disallow this behavior as well. We have already asked for that conversation with the people who actually have your money.

They broke a law and charged me a fee for my medical alert service dog. I have filed an official complaint with Expedia as well as the department of justice. I recommend sleeping in your car over staying here.

Highly recommended! 10 out of 10 rating from us! Todd and Tamera were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property was easy to find and check-in was effortless and efficient. Our room was very comfortable with a nice king-sized bed, great pillows and linens, large tub big enough for 2 and comfy robes and slippers. The room also had its own designated thermostat. There is a hot tub on premises as well as a washer and dryer for use by the guests free of charge. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious! They provided fresh coffee with all of the creamers and sweeteners, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh made bread for toast, jellies, and a hot breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, and a heavenly French toast blueberry casserole. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
