Parking was great, covered garage meant I didn’t have to brush the car off each day. Loved being within walking distance of the Riverfront Gondola to get up to Beaver Creek. The fireplace was nice but it’s unfortunate that it can only be used if you purchase a Duraflame log from the front desk. The one major downside for the unit that we rented was that it was located directly above a Subway restaurant. Every time we opened the door to walk into the unit, we were hit with the very strong smell of old Subway food mixed with cleaning products. We kept the fans on and cracked the windows/sliding door to tame the smell a bit but this unit would definitely not be suitable for anyone sensitive to smells. As far as the property goes, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway in Avon, just be mindful when booking that a number of the units are located above restaurants and may have a similar issue with the smell. ##### Pete B.
