I was in Paris during the train strikes. Notified the property there may be an issue as soon as I was aware of it, 6 days in advance was told “too bad”. I tried to rent a car which was cancelled. Train was cancelled. I had no way to get to Avignon from PARIS. Continued to communicate with hotel. Told them Thursday , 2 days prior to arrival, there was nothing I could do. Again told too bad. I offered to split the two days without any argument. Again answer was no. They had the ability to rent the room. I tried everything in my power to get there but due to the strikes I could not. Customer service was terrible.
