Enjoyed our stay. We rented two rooms One was newly remodeled Ours was older but freshly done up with beamed ceilings. So fun to be in a quaint historic building above a restaurant. Parking was easy and elevator delivered us in front of Palais des Papes a short walk to our hotel .

Incroyable ❣️❣️

Amazing to be directly acros from the Palais des Papes with the view from our window onto the Place d’Horloge in such a charming historic building. Just getting to and from the parking is a tiny bit challenging, but given the location, the history and the age it is very well organized.

The hotel is at the heart of Avignon, couldn't be better situated. It's a beautiful building in sand stone and has this Middle Ages and Gothic feel. Staff was very friendly, the cuisine was ok. The food was good and tasty, the menu I found a bit boring. The hotel lacks maintenance however. The lift didn't work, no batteries in the remote, no light in the gangway, there was AC but a very noisy mobile model. There is no bar, and no vending machine either. At 22h, everything is closed in Avignon. Everything was clean though, the water in the shower warm and the internet good. All in all, I had a good stay.

We fell in love with this charming hotel and the lovely staff that worked there! They made every effort to make us comfortable and welcomed. The location is amazing. Yes there were light bulbs out and the air conditioning was broken but we survived it and slept with the windows open, laughing at the early morning noise. The charm of the hotel won us over completely. You do need to know to park at the Palais des Papes parking lot and travel light as you have to drag your luggage across the cobble stones. There is a classic old European elevator. Travel light. The servers at the restaurant downstairs, however, were rude. Everyone else was delightful! I’d go back again!

Grande chambre mais mal isolée

Très grande chambre avec un très grand lit et vue sur le Palais des Papes. Magnifique ! Par contre les fenêtres sont en simple vitrage : nous avons eu droit aux gens qui se promènent en ville jusqu'à une heure du matin et aux poubelles à 5 heures : la nuit fut courte. Le petit déjeuner est bien mais pas de plat chaud.

Uma ótima estadia!

Adorei a estadia, acomodação ótima, na frente do Palais des Papes, fácil de chegar caminhando da gare Avignon Centre. O staff é excelente, todos muito simpáticos. A acomodação é excelente, cama grande e super confortável, banheiro otimo.Tem bom isolamento acústico do som da rua, mas dentro achei que podia ser melhor, acordei com passos de pessoas no andar de cima e móveis sendo arastados, no meio da madrugada. É um detalhe. Mas eu certamente me hospedarei lá novamente quando um dia voltar a Avignon. Obrigada a todos!

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch für eine Übernachtung ist es voll ok. Es ist sehr angenehm direkt im Zentrum ein Zimmer zu haben, das auch noch sehr sauber ist. Nur der Lift funktionierte leider nicht - aber die Dame am Empfang hat uns den Koffer ins Zimmer getragen. Das Frühstück ist jedoch nicht empfehlen - die Tische waren nicht abgeräumt und schmutzig, Brot fehlte .....

Tout d'abord 30mn d attente,la chambre n etant pas prête.. Le positif : la belle chambre spacieuse..un charme ancien..belle salle de bain..un bon grand lit..manque peut-être un plateau d acceuil ( genre the/ cafe) pour forcer la vente au bar ??? Pas de verre ...? Consomation payante au bar?, pas de verre dans la salle de bain??? ..la désolation du service petit déjeuner : En arrivant 1 croissant 2 morceaux de pain..tres peu de choix..nous avons du réclamé, mais nous n avons pas eu satisfaction Par contre d autres clients 15mn apres oui?, différence ?? Personnel peu avenant..nous avons voulu reprendre une "petite " tasse de cafe..plus de cafe!!! Encore réclamer. Un depart tout juste poli..pas d excuse Prise en charge amoindriie car nous avons eu une réduction sur booking?? Photos du " buffet" a 8h30 ""' un peu maigre Dommage
