Went to cheese and tomatin for our evening meal. It was very busy so they took my phone number and called us back. Excellent service in there and quality food. We recommend it. 5 min walk away from accommodation. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. Loved the stay here. Beds are comfy too.

A lovely base for a weekend hiking
I really enjoyed my stay. The room is extremely comfortable. Mark and his team are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back

Immaculate guest house in the heart of Aviemore. Breakfast was wonderful. Mark, the owner personally met us at check in and showed us to our room. He even gave us great recommendations for dinner and places to hike in the morning. You can really tell that he loves what he does and cares about his guests having a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This property is 5-star; there is no question. The staff are there when you arrive, the rooms contain everything you need, and there is nothing they won’t do to assure your satisfaction. Again in the morning, they are there doing everything to please their clients. Breakfast was just delicious. Everything was fresh. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would definitely return. Also, we loved this area. It was a pleasant surprise. It reminded us of our homeland - mini Banff, Alberta Canada

Very well run guest house with excellent facilities. Room was lovely, bed super comfy. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing and all served to you. Staff very friendly and very efficient. All in all one of the best guest house we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Brilliant and would highly recommend
Very modern rooms at a very high standard. Breakfast had good options and also very tasty. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Location is 5 mins walk to main pubs and restaurants and 10 mins to train station. I would happily stay here again.

Pleasant owner and nice welcome. Lots of noise heard in room 1, from the corridor and nearby rooms. Would have preferred to be able to self serve cereals with a better selection of yogurts and fresh fruit. However, cooked breakfast was excellent.

Our host, Mark, was a treasure, full of genial conversation and good advice for hikes in the hills and other doings around town. The breakfast offerings every morning were delightful, as satisfying as they were tasty. The guest house itself is centrally located in Aviemore, so that we were able to stroll to all the shops and restaurants, as well as the train and bus station, with ease.

Really lovely guest house mark and staff could not have been more welcoming even with covid restrictions everything was done to make sure you enjoyed your stay even down to breakfast which was excellant and room very comfortable would not hesitate to recommend to others

Mark was super accommodating throughout our two night stay. He gave great suggestions for things to do in the area, as well as going through the specifics of staying at the B&B with the covid guidelines. Super friendly. Very clean. Great breakfast options. I would highly recommend this place, and would happily stay again.

I stayed here on business and I have to say next time I stay in Aviemore there is only one place I’m staying “Cairngorm guest house”! Mark who runs this guest house is exceptional and has always got time for you to help or advise, the rooms are clean well maintained and completely modern and breakfast is freshly cooked to order! 10 out of 10 all round and I’ve stayed all round the world and this place is up there Fantastic thank you mark👍🍷

Mark the owner greeted me on arrival and I just knew it was going to be an excellent stay. He was very informative about the area and nothing was a problem. The room was immaculate and along with the rest of the guest house very tastefully decorated. The dining/breakfast area was lovely and comfortable. My breakfast choice was scramble egg and smoked salmon and it was delicious.

Absolutely superb ! Mark and the team were all lovely and very welcoming. Their Guest House is located on the edge of Aviemore which is perfect as it's a nice short walk to nearby restaurants/shops but away from the centre so it's nice and quiet. The Guest House has clearly been recently decorated to a really good standard and my fiancee and I loved the modern/contemporary style. Breakfast was awesome but the best bit for me was the really comfortable bed - it's so common to find hard mattresses in guest houses and hotels but not here. We had a great sleep thanks. We usually go to the big hotel chains when staying in Aviemore but no more ! We'll definitely go back to The Cairngorm Guest House instead. Thanks for a fantastic stay guys :)
