"This is the second time that we have been to stay in this house in Finestret and once again it was perfect for us. The house is ideal - located right in the centre of the village. The bedrooms are comfortable, the house is very very well equipped with plenty of space for a family of 4, and the sun terrace is an oasis of calm - we spent a lot of time out there! April is a great time to visit the area (although, having been at pretty much every time of year, most of the year is a great time to visit!). We went skiing on Easter Sunday, which was the last day of the season, but there was just about enough snow to ski and the weather was fantastic! The nearest ski resort is probably about an hour's drive up the mountains. We also had a couple of days at the beach - 1 day at Collioure which is just beautiful, and one at Argeles plage which is a lovely big, clean sandy beach - perfect for the kids. There's masses to do in the area - lots of lovely walks, lots of cold water swimming if that appeals, markets and we went to the thermal baths at St Thomas les Bains as well. I thoroughly recommend staying here - Tim is a great host, really efficient, providing very comprehensive info on the house and the area. "
