Avalon Policies & What to Expect Golf Cart Responsibility: By signing the rental agreement, you accept full responsibility for the golf cart during your stay, including any damage, regardless of who causes it. The cart must be refueled, parked in its designated space, and covered at departure. HOA Rules – Please Read Carefully: • No day guests or visitors permitted at Hamilton Cove • Maximum occupancy strictly enforced • Drones are prohibited — $300 fine per violation • Guests are responsible for any HOA fines incurred due to noncompliance A separate email outlines all HOA rules and penalties. Our only negative is that the primary bed is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The unit we rented from Nancy's was very nice, with a great view, etc. Nancy's rentals were very responsive and everything went smoothly. Need to fix the lock box we were unable to open it but the housekeeper let us in. Would love to come back. Want owner to know that the chair and footstool in livingroom have rips just in case they didn't know. Unfortunately, the bedding smelled like engine oil. The door was hard to get open, the side door lock does not work. When we checked in - early to drop our stuff off at noon (thankful to be able to do this), the water for the toilets was turned off. I was able to get a hold of them and then followed up twice around 3pm and 6:30pm that the water was still off and no response. Also notified them the golf cart was undrivable - the wheels were severely misaligned and one tire was bald due to it. 8:30pm the toilets started working. 3pm next day the alignment was fixed but the tire was not. We reached out multiple times without a response during our stay. It wasn't until they called to verify checkout that I was able to discuss everything with them! Very frustrating. We stayed in most days and limited what we did because we were very concerned about the the safety of the golf cart. It is extremely hilly/steep and the last thing we needed was a blown tire while going up or down the steep hill. The side door handle/lock needs to be fixed, one of the feet of the main sofas is about to fall off, the is paint peeling off the ceiling possibly due to a slow leak - with that said I can look past that but when my Mom and I can't go anywhere due to a safety concern I have a real problem with that. They have yet to do anything about it. I strongly encourage you to steer clear of this rental with the current property management team in place. They are not dependable. ##### Wendy G. I did want to let you know there is still an ant problem though (we saw receipts from a pest control company from August so I assumed it was related to the ants). Dirty sheets , bed pads and duvets with dirty covers and stained blood on them in spare room closet bunched up on the floor with ants crawling all over them . Had to start washing everything at 2:00 am that first night after only arrive at 5:00pm. Severe ant problem in kitchen and one of the bedrooms and closet. Family members had ants crawling on them in bed in the middle of the night. We stripped their bed and everything went in the washer , then had them curled up on couch to sleep. The condo had a little ant baits all around the inside, but obviously the problem is way worse than that temporary solution. Could not leave food out at all because the ants in the kitchen we’re horrendous!!!! Dirty plates in the cabinets and placemats put away in the drawers filthy. The only saving grace was the fact that the view was beautiful from the balconies. Until the address all the cleaning issues and the severe ant problem I would not recommend this condo. We splurged to stay there and it wasn’t worth the money!!! Even with all my complaints I was not offered any sort of refund or compensation for the stay. Whoever their on site management of this condo is obviously doing a poor job. On a plus note their washer and dryer works great!!!
