I can't fault L'Ajasserie - I visited last year under the previous owner and, if anything, it's improved already under its new owner and she's only just getting started. I felt completely welcome and catered for, and treated as an individual rather than a number on a balance-sheet. Top marks.

Beautiful and stylish manor, very clean and stylish rooms, I slept very well. The manager (or owner ?) is helpful and friendly. Free parking onsite and the views from the window are beautiful. A B&B with character and style. I recommend it.

Stunning old country house with beautiful rooms and grounds. Dog friendly and dinner available with advanced booking. We had a delicious and reasonably priced dinner in the garden. It was very peaceful and a special experience to savour.

This is an amazing find such lovely family owners took great care of us - the rooms perfect and clean. The home cooked food was amazing and service impeccable. Safe parking and so close to the Puy Mary volcano mountain area. Will stay again!

We booked this hotel very, very last minute as we had started to grow tired on the road. It was no problem at all and we were able to go straight to our room. The room was modern and comfortable and we slept really well . The doors do take a good push to close and are noisy when closing - but once the hotel had settled for the night it was a lovely calm environment. The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs.
