"These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday...

"Clim réversible dans la chambre, pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain.... Eau pour douche à peine tiède... Et froid pour le petit déjeuner !!! Nous étions surement les seuls clients et n'avons ainsi pas eu droit au chauffage central !!! On aurait préféré que ce soit fermé ...."

"Emplacement idéal, face aux pistes. La chambre est spacieuse , bien agencée et entretenue. La restauration sur place est un plus voire indispensable car aucune superette dans cette micro station et un seul bar restaurant ouvert. Prix de la restauration élevé (entre 26 et 32€), plat unique. Enfant à demi tarif. Les petits et grands ont apprécié le baby-foot en libre accès. L'aubergiste est serviable et propose des produits choisis, locaux et de saison. "So t be fooled by the listing of the property ! The picture of the SpA is a separate building different business and the cost is 27euros per day out of pocket . Room service is not provided as they list in the free amenities but u will have to do a deep cleaning of the room including washing the floors 😂before leaving otherwise it will cost you 49 euro, u will be charged for extra towels other wise u are shout out of luck if you have kids. Checking is AFTER 5 pm!!! Yep! The WiFi does not work...

"Une nuit de passée : très bon accueil, très bon emplacement, parking voiture, draps et linge de toilette fournis. Deux belles chambres pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Seule "petite" remarque, poussière sous les lits. Mais je recommande sans hésitation cet établissement. "

Le restaurant est un pur délice : j’ai été servie comme une princesse, avec des plats savoureux et un service attentionné. L’auberge est nichée au cœur d’un hameau en pleine nature, au sommet des montagnes, offrant des vues à couper le souffle et une tranquillité absolue. Un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer. "We booked a stay for July 19th 2024. We were going to stay one night after watching the Tour de France on Isola 2000. We left early in the morning with a Eta of 11am. They closed the road at 10am 9 miles from the hotel. The tour was going to finish around 5pm. We had to turn around. It was crazy traffic. We contacted the Sowell via email through expedia and the email they sent us. It was a special situation and we would like a refund. They never answered both emails. Very disappointed.. "
