Bei Rückfragen wurde ich damit vertröstet, dass VRBO zuständig sei und haben mir lediglich eine Telefonnummer angegeben. Beim Versuch dort anzurufen, hiess es, dass diese Nummer nicht in Betrieb sei. Auch die Kontaktangaben wie Mailadresse und Telefonnummer des angeblichen Anbieters der Unterkunft, waren entweder...

"This is the most affordable 5* in the center of Vienna. It is extremely well located - it is a block from the main opera house and very close to the Theater an der Wien. We stayed there in 2013, and again in May and June, 2026. It will be our "go to" hotel in Vienna. There were a few minor annoyances (rough towels, late dining in the bar required using a QR code, and had loud music, cheap furniture) - all minor issues."
