Wrightsville Beach Holidays from £1,110

Recently stayed at the oceaneer for 3 nights with our family of four. The first night we barely slept because our duvet smelled so badly of body odor. There are no covers on any of the duvets so this is not surprising as I'm sure they're not cleaned regularly. Our couch was soaking wet the entire stay as someone before us must have sat on it while wet. We were unable to use this without getting our pants wet. One of our pillows had a blood stain under the pillowcase which could be seen through the cover. When we shared our concerns with staff they said someone should have told us it had been cleaned. They were aware and did not remove from the room permanently. We were overcharged for our stay and spoke to the manager more than three times regarding this issue. She said she was too busy to fix it at the time. We ended up filing a claim with our bank as it continues to be unresolved nearly a week later. There are very few hooks in the bathroom. Not enough for bath towels let alone any swimming suits or beach towels. The location and convenience to the beach is the only positive thing we enjoyed about our stay.
