Firstly, the host seemed quite annoyed because we arrived 1/2 hour early. Offered to wait in the car until appointed hour but no reply. Secondly , for two nights there was very loud music and drunken shouting from next door villa. Not the owners fault but very unwelcome. Our room was spacious. Checking in can be difficult and frustrating. We never received the code we needed to access the property, so we waited a long time in front of the building. Finally, a man from the Lou Calen Hotel across the street came with another person who was trying to access the building. He told us that Hotel La Falaise and Lou Calen Hotel share the same reception. He took us over to the Lou Calen and checked us in. Also, there were no towels in the room, so they brought us towels and got us an extra chair. Citignac is a wonderfully charming town with several excellent restaurants."
