Walking is one of the joys of Augusta and a footpath from the house into the town, the beach, the harbour and the delightful river foreshore is enchanting. Summer through to winter will bring all seasonal surprises from fishy to the amazing arrival of the humpback whales. Whales are not the only attraction in Augusta, the local pod of dolphins are seen cruising the river and the beautiful grassed picnic area at The Colour Patch. The house is located in a fabulous position on the southern end of Flinders Bay overlooking the ocean and marina. Wonderful walks and scenery close by with the popular Granny's Pool swimming spot a short stroll away. The house is well equipped with a large dining/living/kitchen area facing the view. At the rear is a small garden and sitting out area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious house despite the windy weather.
