  • Just 50 minutes from Paris, at Chez Marie-Claire, you’ll enjoy the tranquility of the village of Auffargis in a renovated country house, featuring a large garden and all the comforts you need to recharge, be creative, and relax!
    A bathtub, a fireplace, sofas, lounge chairs, a barbecue, and the shade of the large cherry tree… everything you need to enjoy your stay is right here.
    The Chevreuse Valley also offers a plethora of hiking trails (accessible from the house) through the forest and across fields, as well as bike rides, swimming in the Hollande ponds, or walks along the banks of the Étang de la Tour.
    The region also boasts many restaurants. At the village café, Maria will serve you delicious traditional Portuguese dishes. You’ll also find several Michelin-starred restaurants in the surrounding villages, as well as farms and small producers where you can buy fresh, locally sourced products directly from the source.
