The Space:

Our apartment is perfectly situated for both business or pleasure travellers and is equipped with all the necessities you may need! This apartment will be a great choice for your stay with a small kitchenette, Smart TV, and super comfy king bed.



Here at Zodiak Stays, we provide our guests with free WIFI, towels and bed linen, as well as a welcome pack of starter amenities, and we use a high quality cleaning company so the apartment will be perfect for your arrival. We have all the amenities and facilities you will need to make your stay in Auckland as comfortable as possible:

The main room of the apartment has a fully functional kitchen with oven, stove, and dish washer. The living area has a sofa, a smart TV, and a dining table with two chairs. There is also a beautiful balcony with city views and a glimpse of the ocean - great for a cup of coffee in the morning!



There is a washer/dryer tucked away in the kitchen.

Potential Noise: The building’s Pool Lift is undergoing modernisation from 3 August 2026 until approximately December 2026. During this time, guests can still access the outdoor pool via the Hotel Lobby Lift to Level 4, then follow the signage to the pool area. Construction noise may be heard during business hours while the works are underway. After this, the Service Lift upgrade is expected to continue into the first quarter of 2027.



Pool Hours Update

Please note that, for the safety and security of all residents and guests, the pool will now close at 10:00 PM each day, instead of the previous closing time of 11:00 PM.

The pool will continue to open at 6:00 AM daily for both wings, so guests can still enjoy an early morning swim.



Please be advised that Auckland Council will be carrying out road maintenance works on Hobson Street, between Victoria Street and Wyndham Street, starting 5 October 2026 for up to 3 weeks.

The works are scheduled to take place Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and will involve resurfacing footpaths and vehicle crossings.

Guests may experience some noise, construction activity, or temporary access disruptions during the stated hours. We appreciate your understanding while these necessary works are being completed.



Rooftop Pool Closure Notice

Please note that the rooftop pool area will be closed from Monday, 26 October to Wednesday, 4 November for painting works. For health and safety reasons, access will not be permitted during this period. Guests may continue to use the Tower indoor pool, gym, spa and sauna. Thank you for your understanding.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the whole apartment as well as the building's facilities (indoor pool, rooftop pool, gym, spa, sauna and tennis courts).



The Neighborhood:

Everything you need is within walking distance from the apartment! Here are some suggestions for things to see and do on your visit to Auckland:



The Viaduct - the best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari.



Federal Street - next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down



Aotea Square - Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter.



Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum - Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden.



Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road) - If you head up the hill on Queen Street, you'll eventually reach K Road, where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for.



Ponsonby – If you head West of the CBD, you will find the Ponsonby area. There is old colonial-style architecture there, many great stores for shopping, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Some of the best restaurants in Auckland are here, especially great for fine dining as this is an up-market area of Auckland.



Apart from these mini adventures, Queen Street (main street the city) is filled with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, live music venues, and more! Make sure you explore High Street as well, which lies just parallel to Queen Street. That whole area is very nice to walk, relax, or dine out in, and tends to be a bit cheaper than Queen Street if you want to do some shopping.



If you want to explore further Auckland then you can take a walk towards the Viaduct from the apartment. There you will find Britomart station. (Bus and train)



Getting Around:

There is the SkyBus to and from the Airport, or via taxi. For trains, busses, and ferries: Britomart bus and train station/Wynyard Wharf Ferry Terminal and Downtown Pier 4. You can also use the Lime Scooters to get around the city, as well as Uber (or Zoomy – NZ’s version of Uber).

Please note: At the moment, the window blind has been temporarily removed. However, the blackout curtains are fully functional and continue to provide excellent coverage, ensuring you can still enjoy a dark, restful environment whenever you wish.

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.



Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from a secure location at the Oneciti air lockbox office in the Heritage Building (35 Hobson Street). This is located in the same building in which you'll be staying. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.



Smoking and vapes are prohibited in the entire building which includes the facilities and balconies. Building management will issues fines to anyone who breaches these rules.



Parking: We do not have a free carpark for this building but nearby paid parking options are available.



Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.



Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.



Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.



Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay (2x shampoo, 2x bodywash, 4x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.



Coffee Machine: We don’t provide coffee pods in the unit, but you’re very welcome to bring your own favorites. For your convenience, we’ve provided complimentary instant coffee during your stay



Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.



Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.



This is a professionally managed apartment by Zodiak Stays so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced apartment. As above, weekly housekeeping can still be arranged as an extra service.
