Clean and in a good location
This property is clean and in a location that is walking distance to Auburn cellar doors and pub. This property has no cooling or heating in the bedrooms. We arrived on an extremely hot day and were disappointed to discover there was no cooling for the bedrooms. Thank you to Cory who looks after the properties for arranging to bring in a portable water cooler that cooled the main bedroom down.

Thank you for your feedback. The main a/c is large enough to heat and cool the entire house. Once it's on it does not take too long to cool or heat up the cottage. The wood heater in winter also effectively warm up the entire cottage.

Absolute serenity!
What a gem this delightful cottage is. Superbly located - we walked everywhere admiring the glorious gardens. Spotlessly clean - wonderful bird life. Lots of supplies to keep us fed - I cannot recommend this highly enough for a thoroughly relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Great country stay
Well equipped, spacious cottage in a lovely quiet location close to everything. Great shower and bed and nice welcoming touches. We didn't need the breakfast provided but it was generous.

Disappointing
Great location but unfortunately the cleaning had a lot to be desired. The cottage is a bit dated but with a little TLC it would be a great place. The bed was very hard so unfortunately we left a day earlier than originally booked.

Cosy Cottage
Enjoyed our stay. Amy’s House was the perfect location for our stay in the Clare Valley. Centrally located and the wonderful provisions supplied were great. Would definitely stay again if we come back this way.

Auburn is a delightful place to stay
Amy’s Place is in a lovely location, walking distance to the Main Street that has a supermarket, petrol station, pub, restaurant, cafe, cute shops and The Riesling Trail is almost on your doorstep and it is around 20 minutes to drive to Clare. The cottage we stayed in had a ‘Tuscan Kitchen’ which has a Microwave/Convection oven that works very well. The bedroom has a hard mattress, the bathroom has a fantastic rain shower and lovely spa bath. Having access to a shared laundry was nice.

Lovely cosy cottage
Had a little difficulty finding the property, but the cottage was perfect for our overnight stay. With the fire going it had a very cosy ambience and the breakfast provisions were awesome 👌

Auburn is a lovely spot to stop off traveling Northward. This is a lovely little cottage, very convenient and the breakfast that was left for us was wonderful.

Amy's Auburn Cottage
This is a very quaint little cottage perfect for a romantic few days stay. It is in need of some furniture/decor/carpet/kitchen upgrades and the the roofing gutters and overhanging branches needed some serious attention...but it is in a great location handy to good walking trails and wineries. Its also Pet Friendly which is great. Great wood fire keeps the place cosy but this is an additional cost for wood so a good idea to gather or take your own. Overall pretty good.

Lovely Cottage, great location
Everything you need is there, good starting point to explore the Clare Valley. Walking distance to local pub with great meals, supermarket close by, nice quiet place to spend a few days.

Relaxing Stay
Peaceful setting, great location within walking distance to the Riesling trail, park and Main Street. The cottage itself was comfortable and there were ample provisions provided. The only improvement could be the addition of a screen door so the doors can be open.

Amazing location
Auburn was a beautiful little town. We strolled across the creek to the Rising Sun for a drink and dinner. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts have been very thoughtful and the breakfast provisions were a nice touch.

Adequate property; stay tarnished by organisational flaws
There were no details provided, as promised, in the lead up to our stay re keys etc., so we had to make that enquiry ourselves on the day of our arrival. Owner got us confused with another group, thus sending us to the wrong property; even when we enquired to check the address was right, we were reassured it was. We were later called to tell us we were in the wrong property, which meant driving back from Sevenhill to remove our bags from the (wrong) cottage and give the keys to the correct guests, and re-locate to the correct cottage. This took an hour out of our already limited time to visit wineries. The cottage itself was fine and the eggs provided for breakfast were superb - very fresh. Wasn't much to see or do in Auburn; would choose another town in the Clare Valley next time.

Hi Claire. So sorry about the misunderstanding on the propery. Having guests with the same name checking in on the same day is unusual yet obviously possible. Should have checked the other details. Glad you enjoyed the breakfast. As far as Auburn.. I suppose it depends what you like. Auburn is a beautiful historic town with an award winning hotel, Rising Sun, award winning restaurant, Terroir, the largert Clare Valley winery, Taylor's Wines set on beautiful grounds and an attractive celler door, as well as other boutique wineries. Cafes, mini golf, gift shops, walking and cycling trails, gardens, vineyards and friendly locals. It also boasts a supermarket and a pharmacy. It's why it's such a popular town with B&Bs. Additionally it's within 20 mins of all other Clare Valley attractions, towns, and wineries. Once again sorry for the confusion about the cottage its an error we hope not to repeat.

Lovely and quiet, had everything we needed
Beautiful house with a lovely fire, huge backyard and really comfy beds! The owner answered questions quickly, and we were made to feel at home.
