"The hotel is beautifully situated next to the lake, with unimpeded views to the north of the lake and islands. The balconies and breakfast areas look out on the lake and offer sublime views. The hotel itself is new, beautiful and well appointed; breakfast was great, my husband enjoyed the gym and our family liked the pool. The beds were comfortable. The floors of our room and bathroom were not clean; there were stains on the carpet, hair on the bathroom floor and spatters by the bathroom mirror. From what we could tell the rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained, so maybe it was just our room that didn't get the same care? Anyway, we would probably stay again because of the beautiful room and view, taking a chance on housekeeping doing a better job next time."

"My family (6 adults & 3 dogs) stayed this weekend. I wanted:On Lake Superior3 baths 4 bedrooms (is 5 bedrooms)4 beds (is 6 beds)Pet-friendly (perfect)FirepitCleanFall colors (perfect)The family (including the fur-babies) instantly liked the place. There is the side yard, backyard, and then big rocks into Lake Superior.What is spectacular is the deck; which is huge! There is lots of space for 6 adults and 3 big dogs. There are 3 tables with chairs & nice sized propane grill. It was so relaxing watching the sun rise/set on the deck while relaxing, grilling, and having some laughs. We were chilling by the firepit by 10pm quiet time. The dog had so much fun & had lots of room to lounge.VRBO description points out not being wheelchair acceptable; which is 100%. There are multiple steps to the front door and deck, along with inside between floors. If you struggle with multiple steps and/or have young children, you must take this into account. Adults also will have to keep a close eye on the kiddos due to the slippery rocks and lake being so close.We were unaware certain items not being available. VRBO location's supplies differ. There was one kitchen towel/wash cloth, minimal spices/condiments, no Ziploc bags, etc. In a way, I do understand no food products being supplied for health reasons. Not a big thing, we just now know for the next visit. I had a few questions for the host, and he responded promptly prior to and after the visit. Thank you, Cory!!"

"The house was wonderful it had everything you could possibly want or need. My husband was complaining we had not brought any scissors but I found some in the silverware draw. The beds were comfortable and the living room furniture was so comfortable We are planning another trip up and we will definitely book here to stay again"

"Danielle’s cabin was wonderful. It is centrally located to many of the local sightseeing destinations, including waterfalls, hiking trails, Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks, and many others. The cabin is very warm and cozy with all the conveniences of home. The cabin is on furnace lake and has a rowboat and 2 kayaks. I caught 2 pike from the dock and had many other bites, while I rowed around the lake. The 2 car garage was a plus, but there is plenty of parking in the driveway. The cabin is dog friendly, but you wouldn’t know a dog ever stayed, because the cabin is very clean and has no wet dog smell. Our dog loved his stay at the lake. If my next visit to the Upper Peninsula is near Munising, I’ll be looking to see if Danielle’s cabin is available to rent.P.S. The water pressure in the shower is phenomenal."

"Excellent 3 bedroom home. Plenty of room. All basic amenities there for you. Only had to bring our own shampoo, soap, toothpaste. The photos did not do the home justice. It was super clean and updated throughout. Only used bed in master but it was extremely comfortable. Great central location for exploring all over the UP. Quick communication from host. Stayed with our 13 year old Labrador and she loved the home and fenced yard. Would absolutely stay again."
