"What can I say about this property that I suspect dozens of others haven't already. In a word this property is superb. It's remote location (it feels like you are in the absolute middle of no where but you're 8/9 miles from the town) is idyllic, right on a small lake. The house isn't perfect, but that's what we loved - it has character, it has personality and it has charm all within an exceptionally safe, well apportioned, incredibly comfortable set of walls. A couple of things to help other travellers. The owners are incredible - we had a couple of questions before and during and they were responsive and super helpful The building doesn't have AC, but they have more fans than B&Q (Home Depot I guess for Americans) and windows have bug meshes - we stayed in the middle of the heatwave and we slept fine (better than we can in the UK during such heat) There are mosquitoes and they do bite - its a cabin in nature, near water... The cabin had bug spray, the windows had mesh stoppers to allow the windows to be open and when the breeze got up, we weren't bothered by them as much. I suspect that in shoulder of off-season where they don't thrive, their absence would make the cabin even more perfect. The amenities were great - great kitchen, laundry, multiple sleeping options, great shower and possibly the largest DVD collection I've ever seen in a rental property. We went out and explored from the property but you'd never get bored if you never left the building"

"The home was comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view of Lake Superior, especially in the evening. If you plan to spend time on the deck or in the backyard after sunset, be sure to bring mosquito repellent. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery."

"We had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The hot tub was a huge bonus and the perfect way to relax after a long day. The location couldn’t have been better—there were plenty of great restaurants, bars, and things to do just minutes away. Everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place in a great location to see pictured rocks or just a nice get away"

"We loved this location. A quiet little town just a few block walk to Lake Superior. Nice fenced in back yard for the dogs. Wood available for the fire pit right next door. Good parking space. Bathrooms are not connected to any bedroom but it was nice to have two of them. Kitchen has plenty of items needed for cooking on site. There was a water filter for water from the refrig."
