Perfect location, friendly and kind staff. Local craftsmanship in architectural details. Very comfortable bedding for a great night’s sleep. Pleasantly surprised by an upgrade which gave us our private outdoor jacuzzi and patio!!

We loved, loved, loved our stay at the Charlston Santa Teresa in Cartagena. We were greeted with elegance, cleanliness, and very friendly and honest staff, who were professional by the highest standards, and also looked out for our well being and safety. And that is something that no money can buy! Beyond that, there are the usual amenities like a gym, a pool, a nice restaurant, magnificent views (granite baths, beach proximity and city center not included - NOT kidding). The breakfast, too, was out of this world!

Every team member went above and beyond to make me feel cared for—remembering my name, anticipating my needs, and treating me more like a valued guest than just another booking. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were truly world-class. The hotel itself is nothing short of stunning. The architecture is both unique and breathtaking—blending history with modern design in a way that feels luxurious yet inviting. Every corner reveals thoughtful touches, intricate details, and spaces that are as photogenic as they are comfortable. And the location? Absolutely perfect.
