"Good Things: - The location was perfect. The hotel is right on the beach and near lots of restaurants and stores - The staff was very friendly - The indoor and outdoor pools were nice Bad Things: - Not one time in all 8 days of my stay did they ever service or clean the room. - The area near the elevators was dirty and wasn't cleaned for days after someone bled on the floor. - The toilet took about 5 flushes before it would work. Someone did come to "fix" it, but it only reduced the number of flushes to 2-3 before it worked. - Though it was supposedly a non-smoking hotel, someone smoked profusely in the room next to my son's and therefore his room reeked of smoke for several days of the stay. - The hotel was very loud. Their was very little, if any, sound insulation, and when the doors closed in the rooms, they slammed, and you could hear it from half-say down the hall. - There was construction going on right across the street, and they were literally pile-driving foundation poles 8 hours a day for many of the days of our stay. - There was a big push both in person and on the wi-fi to buy a time-share."

Beautiful 3 bedroom house minutes from the beach and First Landing State park

"Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The house was immaculate and as pictured. There is a nice tree top view (light and airy with all the windows) from the 3rd floor that is the main living space. Our family spent a lot of time in the early morning and later evenings relaxing and being comfortable in this space. There is also the convenience of the half bath on that same floor. The bedrooms were nice, the beds comfortable and the sheets of good quality. There are 2 outside decks and we used the top one daily. The kitchen has most everything you could need. The showers are a little tight but shouldn't be an issue for most people. There is good water pressure and lots of hot water.The park entrance is maybe 200 feet from the house and the beach is a 5 minute walk. You do have to cross a 4 lane main road but it was not difficult or unsafe to do so. We loved being close enough to walk there. The trails through the park and easy and have benches along the way and some really pretty views of the water.We used the laundry and the outdoor shower and both worked great. We really enjoyed our stay here, had no issues and would consider this property for a future stay."

"Great place, great location. The condo was well maintained and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Fantastic location, easy walk to the beach. Pool was clean and well maintained. Laundry is close, but would've been great to have laundry inside the condo for a longer stay. However, we knew this going in, so it was expected. Owner was very kind to send us something one of my daughter's left. We would rent again!"
