Best indie hotel in galloway

Best independently run hotel in Galloway/Absecon! Minor cosmetic issues w/room but the stag were the nicest I’ve seen in a long time anywhere!

It was a very nice stay the manager made sure we were comfortable helped ua with figuring our the tv, unlocking the doors lol yes there was a trick to it. She was very friendly and helpful.

I had a nice stay.

The room was big and the bed was comfortable so was the pillow, my main complaint is the cleanliness it wasn't so great. It can definitely improve. I will definitely come back if I have to stay close by.

Room was scorching hot. But Ac did work. Water temp was great. Could've used comfier bedding. 2 night stay nice for a cheaper room than other places. But you get what you pay for.

The door lookes like it was busted open with a paper as the number to the room, cigarettes burns in the comforter on the bed and a bunch of alcoholic crackheads hanging outside. Not a place for a family

I can’t believe I got something that was legitimately clean for such a cheap price this place is awesome. The bedding is clean the towels are clean the fridge is clean the microwave is clean the carpet is clean there are no holes in the walls or anywhere and the paint looks nice. There’s multiple tables, a nice 4 drawer and 2 large cabinet dresser, and flat screen tvs with a lot of channels. I haven’t seen a single bug for two days, and I even tried looking I can’t find any bugs. The person taking care of this property, I believe her name is Vicky, is great as well. She was very welcoming and accommodating and she made it feel like a home away from home, she’s there to help with whatever you need and she truly does. There was no security deposit before checking in. No unusual or disturbing activity in the area or other rooms so it would definitely be good for kids. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, even if you’re not on a budget. Last but not least, there was no smell. I got a smokers room and it didn’t even smell like smoke or have signs of smoking. This place is really well taken care of.

The prices were relatively alright for the area but the hot water didn’t run into my room (they told me it takes 20 mins) and there was no service done during my stay. Fridge froze everything even on bottom shelf. Fine place to sleep but if you need a hot shower stay away.

Me and a few friends booked 2 rooms in the motel. Nice area. We were surprised why the reviews were so low because everything seemed fine, UNTIL WE FOUND BED BUGS ALL OVER THE BED!! unfortunately we got back to the motel late and fell straight to sleep so we didn’t even realize until the next morning where we woke up to bed bugs on the pillows right next to us ewwwww.
