Not only is The Legacy at Harble Ridge located just minutes away from some of the most popular hiking destinations in the Hocking Hills but it is packed with everything you will need for a getaway you'll never forget. Layout of The Legacy - Main Level: You will enter The Legacy from the driveway with ample parking space and a handicap accessible front door. You will be welcomed into the living room with a gas fireplace and a 65" TV. As you explore your new accommodations you will find a dining area with convenient seating including 6 chairs and a large bench perfect for both adults and little ones. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to feel just like home, including granite countertops, full size appliances and all of the amenities you'll need for your stay. Just off the kitchen is a bunk room just for the kids in the group. Four twin beds make this cozy spot a favorite for all the little ones in your group. The main floor also includes two king bedrooms, both with a full en suite bathroom. Each bedroom also includes a twin murphy bed. One bedroom includes a handicap accessible bathroom, with a step in shower and grab bars for the toilet and shower. Both bedrooms are located along the back of the property with sliding doors onto the back deck. You will feel like you are sleeping in a treehouse and your views will be spectacular as they change with nature throughout the day. The back deck runs the entire length of the house, as you step outside the views will take your breath away and you will want to sit and relax in one of our rocking chairs to take in the peace and quiet of this location. The upper deck also includes a gas grill, dining table with seating for 8 and a kid's picnic table - outdoor dining for everyone! Lower Level: This is where the fun really begins! This cabin is all about having fun and a little friendly competition too. With a shuffle board table, Arcade Legends 3 video game, and a full size Skee-Ball you won't have any trouble finding something to do. We also have a full size, arcade style claw machine which will provide hours of fun! The lower level also has a large lounge area with a 65" TV, a large DVD collection, and a large table for board games or playing cards. You will also find our final king bedroom with a set of twin XL bunk beds and a full en suite bathroom that is shared with the basement. The back wall of the lower level is lined with windows and sliding doors that lead directly out to the lower level patio. As you head outside you will be in awe of the amazing views out into the beautiful scenery of Hocking Hills. There is a large seating area a comfy single person swing, as well as a relaxing hot tub that seats 8\. The patio is fully covered and can easily be enjoyed rain or shine. Exterior: Both the upper and lower decks offer a great deal of outdoor space to explore. You will also be welcomed to your cabin's personal fire pit, perfect for s'mores and quality time with friends and family. The Legacy is surrounded by 40 acres of privately-owned wooded land for you to enjoy and explore along with miles of maintained trails, and a private pond fully stocked with various fish for catch and release fun during your stay. You will also have accesss to Superhero park, a natural playground that will entertain kids for hours while adults relax at a picnic table or with a game of horse shoes. This playground is privately owned and for Harble Ridge guests only. The Legacy at Harble Ridge is the property you have been looking for and we can't wait to make your Hocking Hills vacation something you remember for years to come! Please note - The Legacy at Harble Ridge shares our 40 acre property with 3 other cabins so we do ask that all guests observe quiet hours from 11:00pm to 8:00am to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of all guests at Harble Ridge. It seemed like the owners thought of everything they wish they had when they rented a cabin and made sure they included it in the Legacy. I loved how everything was labeled with instructions, including which switch went with which light. We had 3 younger kids with us and they loved the cabin and the secret playground. The property is incredible with great hiking trails and amenities. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a stay-cation with a short drive to Hocking Hills. As a warning, if you plan on going in the winter, snow may make it difficult to make it to the top of the drive way. A 4WD vehicle is recommeneded if there is snow. Beautiful deck that was very much used as the weather was very comfortable to sit outside. Very happy to notice the lack of insects(mosquitoes) as we sat outside. Close to the state parks and the kids loved the ice cream shop not to far away, I believe it was called Old Mans Cave General Store. All in all it was a great family vacation. Harble Ridge thought of everything and you can tell they put thought into making this an enjoyable and easy stay. We had six adults and seven kids all 8 and under and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The only cons we had were that the hot tub was a little cloudy, there was a leak from one of the bathroom sinks and there was a bad sewage smell one day outside. We never smelled it inside but you could smell it from the hot tub. The owners responded to our texts right away about the leak and we didn’t contact about the other things because they weren’t that big of a deal. I would definitely go back! ##### Fellicia B. This cabin was just perfect for us! It's a bit deceiving when you pull up as it looks small from the outside, but it's much bigger inside. It was very comfortable for our family of 8\. The kids loved the games downstairs and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The inside was clean and well furnished. Everything worked well such as TV's, door locks, doors, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to prepare meals. Plenty of towels supplied for the hot tub. We could have used a few more hand towels for the bathrooms but really, the house was so well stocked with everything else, that was a minor detail. Firewood (for a small fee) was available right by our cabin so we didn't have to go anywhere to find some. We enjoyed the fire pit area every night. All the outside furniture is very nice and comfortable. From the fire pit area is a trail that leads to a playground and the kids had a blast there. We hiked that multiple times daily. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay and we had a great time hiking in Hocking Hills. We hiked Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and Rock House. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay.
