Petralona is named after the Greek words 'Petrina Alonia' which means 'stone threshing floors', which were used in the area to thresh grain before urbanization. The area was also known as Katsikadika, due to the presence of goat herders in the area who used to give out milk to the residents. Our house is located in the 'better part' of the area known as 'Ano Petralona' (upper Petralona). You will find many amazing hotspots for food and drinks within walking distance.



Nearby: The 'Green line' metro which is a direct line to the port and important stops like: Thisseio, Monastiraki square, and Omonia.

There are also two buses that serve the area: bus 227 and bus 035 and connect Petralona with the rest of the city center.
