The new Museum of Acropolis, the entrance to the Parthenon and the buzzing neighborhood of Plaka are all a few minutes walk from the doorstep. A quiet, safe and strategically located location to explore Athens.The apartment's freshly renovated spaces can comfortable accommodate 4 adults. Nearest Underground Station: Siggrou- Fix- 6 min walk-500 m. Internet up to 24Mbps. This newly renovated, fully furnished apartment features one bedroom with a queen bed, a spacious and cozy living room with a comfy sofa-bed, a brand new bathroom, and a brand new fully-equipped kitchen. The apartment can accommodate comfortably up to 4 persons. I don't live in the apartment, however, my team and I will be happy to assist you. Either you need help with the apartment or some suggestions during your stay just text me! Koukaki and Acropolis are two of the most picturesque neighborhoods in Athens. The long pedestrian street passes in front of the Acropolis, Herodeion Theater, the New Acropolis Museum and finally reaches the Hadrian Arch. It is also known as Makrigianni quarter in Athens, where the statue of Makrigiannis lies, the hero of the Greek Revolution, that is found at the beginning of this street, in a small round square. Its architectural beauty and its historical significance, make this quarter popular among tourists and a favorite spot of the Athenians to stroll around on a Sunday morning, under the Holy Rock. It borders with the picturesque neighborhood of Plaka from one side and the region of Koukaki on the other. The most famous sights in Athens are found within a walking distance from the Neighborhood. Museums include the new Acropolis Museum , the new Jewish Museum of Greece , the Museum of Greek Folk Art , an annex of which is the Old Public Baths building, the Frissiras Museum, the Museum of Popular Music Instruments, the Museum of Pavlos and Alexandra Kanellopoulou and the Athens University Museum (15 min walk). Adrianou Street (15 min walk) which may be the oldest street in Athens still in continuous use with exactly the same layout since antiquity, that leads to the Roman Agora - Roman Forum and to Thiseio. Also, Acropolis entrance is a 10 min walk from the apartment. Other remarkable sights nearby are Herodes Atticus Theatre, the Pnyx Hill, and the picturesque neighborhood with the greek island-like houses, Anafiotika. Aside from sightseeing, note that the neighborhood is full of nice cafes and bars. Metro / Underground is the most convenient mean of transit for the location. "Siggrou - Fix" Station is only an 6 min walk away (500 m), from where you have access to Line 2\. It had everything we needed from a really comfortable bed to a great bathroom and functional kitchen. We loved having outdoor space to breathe and especially being so close to restaurants, coffee shops, and the great little bar at the corner. Definitely recommend this spot as we felt very safe in the location, walking distance from the acropolis activities and Syntagma Square. Relatively new, clean, pretty good location. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Acropolis. Obviously the property manager can't do anything about this, but tons of graffiti on the buildings around it drawing down the feel of the neighborhood. The check in process was fine, although it would have been helpful to have some marking on which lock box was ours. There were three other ones. Also, some simple instructions to open the lock box would have been helpful. All in all, I would stay there again. ##### Ed C.
