The newly remodeled Conrad The Ilisian is a beautiful property with spacious rooms, a beautiful pool and deck. The staff was outstanding, the food was terrific. It’s the only place to stay in Athens. The only draw back was the rooftop/galaxy bar (old name) is still undergoing construction.

It’s a 5* plus experience all around. Rooms n amenities are top notch, service is wonderful, gym is one of the most spacious well equipped n immaculate anywhere I’ve stayed. Wonderful breakfast, gift shop and pool scene is thriving! Obviously pricey but once you forget about that it’s a pleasure to stay there!

From the moment you walk in, the scent, the smiles, the courteousness, the luxury feel, the design detail, the material used, the grandeur of the spaces…you will be blown away. The rooms, the lighting, the stone, the woodwork, the bedding, towels, offerings, turn down service, toiletries…..pool, loungers, service above and beyond your expectations. Opened recently in April 2026, this brand new Conrad has nailed what modern luxury travellers need. The wellness centre and pools are incredibly oversized and a real luxury for a city hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and beds extremely comfortable. Service was excellent and the breakfast at Byzantino is superb.
