The Real Athens

The house is in a residential area so you feel a part of Athens rather than stuck in a tourist hotel. The house is close to the Hill of the Pnyx which has an amazing view of the Acropolis and surrounding area. There’s a market on the door step each Friday which is bustling with locals and the streets are filled with restaurants and independent shops. The very centre of Athens is a 20 minute stroll and if you don’t want to walk then there are plenty of buses. The hostess was always on hand to help with anything and everything.

Incredible property!!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this villa in a central location in Athens. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity you could want for an amazing stay. There was plenty of room for all our family to have our privacy, and also plenty of areas in the Villa to spend time together. I was impressed by the beautiful floors and ceilings, as well as the juxtaposition of classic architecture with modern decor. Truly, stunning! Although the photos are accurate, the property is even more lovely in person. Additionally, there is a great balcony area with seating. The hosts could not have been nicer or more considerate. We had a long day of traveling, and check-in was seamless. We were greeted by a lovely welcome basket with local treats, a bowl of fresh peaches, and a refrigerator full of water. So lovely since our flight had been delayed and it was very warm that day. It had a fully stocked kitchen, supplies for the dishwasher, laundry, extra garbage bags, etc. An additional perk was that there is a service that is similar to Uber eats, but the restaurants are local, and the food gets delivered within 15 minutes, and is hot and fresh! There are many restaurants, market, places, and banking areas that are in an easy walking distance. I really can’t say enough good things about this property!

The Villa was in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of many major tourist attractions, including the Acropolis. This made it very convenient for exploring the city.However, the Villa itself did not fully meet our expectations. The second bathroom was located downstairs, away from the bedrooms, which made it inconvenient — especially for a group of six adults. It was also quite small and challenging to shower in. The bedrooms were a reasonable size, but sharing just one bathroom upstairs was difficult for our group. The furniture in the living room area was very strange felt like beds instead of a couch.On a positive note, the host was very responsive and provided daily housekeeping, which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend if you want something close to the activities near by.

Schön renoviertes und gut gelegenes Stadt-Haus. 5 Min. zu Fuß entfernt gibt es jede Menge Restaurant mit guten Google Bewertungen.Die 3 Schlaf- und das Wohnzimmer sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet.Im Frühjahr, bei niedrigen Außentemperaturen, waren die Bäder, Küche und Flur somit recht kalt.Die Fenster sind alt und einfach verglast und lassen den Verkehrslärm nicht nur draußen.Insgesamt aber zu empfehlen!
