This is a very cute hotel. Leads on to the street which is very quaint. However We did not have hot water for the entire stay. Staff tried to help and no communication of the status of the situation until we inquired again. Pillows are so thin, which was not a good sleep

First thing first; we had a trans-Atlantic flight so arrived early. The hotel ( staff ) was gracious enough to let us check-in around 11 am and it was so nice. The location is in the heart of Alfama and close to a lot of amenities. This area is an historic place so considering that — hotel is pretty modern but definitely lacks the amenities like air conditioning ( exists but don’t do anything, tiny bathroom etc)
Overall an excellent stay and again kudos to staff for being super helpful and knowledgeable.

"The hotel is conveniently located as it is close to the airport. It is also close to metro stations. The hotel could use new pillows as the ones in our room were flat, and the towels also smelt damp. It does not seem that early check-in is an option, even if an hour or two earlier than the 3 PM check-in ..."
