Known as the city of a hundred towers, Asti is located in the heart of Piedmont, amidst beautiful hills famous worldwide for their wines: Monferrato, Langhe, and Roero. The city is rich in medieval monuments, mostly concentrated along Corso Alfieri, the high street and shopping district: in addition to the Palazzo and Theatre of the same name, we recommend visiting the numerous churches, including the beautiful Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and San Gottardo, the Sant’Anastasio Crypt Museum, and the Clock Tower, the city’s symbol. Don’t miss a visit to Piazza Campo del Palio, one of Italy’s largest squares, which—along with Piazza Alfieri—hosts a charming, traditional market held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- From Asti Station, you can walk to the ASTI Movicentro stop (a 2-minute walk) and take bus no. 105FS to the ASTI - Corso Don Minzoni stop, which is about a 17-minute walk from the property.
- If you’re travelling by car, parking is included. A reserved outdoor parking space (number 2) is available for guests; alternatively, you can park for free on the street (white lines—NOT guaranteed).
