"This was our third time in Assisi, and our first time at the Hotel Umbra. We loved its central location, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast they offer. If there was a downside, the spacious room didn’t have much of a view … but what does that matter? We spent all of our time wandering the city. We’ll certainly stay there again."
"We had a beautiful stay in Assisi! Our rooms were at the front of the building with beautiful little balconies covered in flowers. Comfortable beds, great curtains/shutters, and well situated bathroom amenities. Perfectly located just on the edge of town. Easy walking distance to all the major sites and churches.
We enjoyed the breakfast and Enrico's coffee!
Overall a fantastic stay. Felt like we were travelling back in time to tranquil, traditional Assisi. Bellissimo!"
"Very well located but many steps so not great for people not able to climb steps. Tiny bathroom and if you want towel changing they charge 5 Euros. They say breakfast included but very sparse."
