"Overall, this was a good choice of hotel. The room was clean, updated and comfortable with adequate space. The staff was friendly. The ponies on the property were a lovely surprise. It was fun to be able to see and pet them every day. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and was convenient. The weather was very hot and humid during our 2 day stay...the room and lobby AC were fine, but the common areas were not air conditioned, so coming and going from the room you did need to walk through...

The sunrise is indeed truly lovely from the main bedroom (the other two bedrooms are on the other side of the house, but still with nice views), and we appreciated the many porches for reading.
