"Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in quick, given all the info we needed. Classic Double room was larger than expected. Well stocked tea and coffee and biscuits. Lovely clean bathroom,good shower, plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast was fine and catered for gluten free. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. A good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The majority were gluten free. The food was excellent. The pub is next to the railway crossing and station, but no noise overnight. Would definitely recommend. "

"A pleasant pub with lots of rooms in a beautiful seaside fishing village, helpful staff, reasonable pub food, so plenty to recommend it -- except: no breakfast available until 8.30am! For busy people and holiday makers who want to make the best of their day, this is hopeless, and shows that the pub is trying to cut corners by not getting staff in to prepare breakfast at a sensible time. I need to visit the area frequently and would like to use the Dolphin again, but I'm afraid that not making breakfast available at a reasonable time is enough to rule it out for me in future."

"Great location .Large comfortable room overlooking beach. Windows old and very draughty ,building a bit tired in places. WiFi non existent in room. Not a hotel problem, but Weymouth car parking charges astronomical!!"

"Reception staff friendly and helpful. Cleaning done to a good standard. Nice, clean bed. Very tatty room (nothing to do with housekeeping), tired looking, torn net curtain, dirty windows. Shower curtain was heavily stained, disgusting, ick! Poor tea/coffee selection. £104 seemed excessive for this room. "
