It is comfortable and cozy traditional log cabin with aged and polished log interior walls, hardwood floors, a luxurious bed, a stone gas log fireplace, and views of tall firs and cedars out the windows. The sound of Copper Creek, about 150 feet away, lulls you to sleep at night. The cabin is in a grove of fir and cedar trees. I took my fiancée here for her 40th birthday. She loves mountains. Let’s just say it was a grand slam home run. This cabin, built single-handedly by a 70+yo man in the ‘50s is a gem. We rented the same Copper Creek Lodge twice: ten years ago and now with our son's family and their 7 year old twins. What a delight! The Copper Creek cabins are clustered around spacious perfectly well kept grounds, bordered by the pristine babbling copper creek. The cabins are clean, well appointed and the kitchen so well equipped that we decided to stay in for all meals - even though the cozy Copper Creek Inn, a part of the compound, is just around the corner with its most tempting menu. Everything is so well done and managed in a friendly and unobtrusive way.We can't think of a more attractive log cabin vacation spot, just minutes from the Rainier Park entrance to Paradise. Would we come back? Of course. Would we recommend it for other families? We have already done so and will continue to sing Copper Creek's praises!
