Lungolago di Ascona, the town’s picturesque lakeside promenade is just a 2-minute walk away with its colourful buildings, palm trees, lively cafes, boutiques and grocery stores.   
  
Ascona’s Old Town, Borgo di Ascona can also be reached within a 5-minute walk, here guests can explore the narrow cobblestone streets, boutique shops, art galleries and traditional restaurants.   
  
Art enthusiasts will want to head to the Museo Comunale d\\'Arte Moderna (a 2- minute walk) and explore the tranquil sanctuary of Monte Verità, a cultural centre featuring an art museum, historic park, and Switzerland’s only tea plantation. For those with children, the Parco Giochi amusement park, is an 8-minute walk and the Lido di Ascona is an 8-minute drive / 20-minute walk away. Other activities include Golf Club Patriziale Ascona and Locarno Falconry which are both a 6-minute drive away.   
  
Ascona is also an ideal gateway to the magical Brissago Islands renowned for renowned for their lush botanical gardens and guests will find the ferry connection a 4-minute walk away.
