The hotel is old and the room was a little tight with 4 sleeping mats on the floor BUT by the end of our 3 night stay we really enjoyed our stay. The onsen is lovely and that really made the stay, along with the staff who were eager to help with anything. Breakfast was included with lots of options and was quite good. We were here for a ski trip and this turned out to be a great location although a little further from Furano than expected (50 min on a small road). The beds were mats on the floor with small bean bag pillows and could have a been a little more comfortable but we got used to it. Parking was free and easy. Not a lot of restaurants close by but some food trucks across the street open for lunch. It was a long drive to get there and no option to at least get to serve us something. I guess they are very strict with schedules and the concept of time. There’s a noodle vending machine. My son had two. LOL.
